Vocational Program Coordinator
The Vocational Program Coordinator (VPC) leads our hands-on vocational programs, equipping youth with practical trades and life skills. Serving as an active mentor, the VPC builds responsibility, work ethic, and confidence in our children while supporting the overall maintenance of the campus. Additionally, the VPC works with the Facilities Director to provide campus maintenance support as needed.

- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field OR high school diploma or G.E.D. and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in vocational training, agriculture, secondary education, or a related field.

Residential Care Manager
The Residential Care Manager (RCM) provides daily support for cottage operations, youth behavior, crisis response, and other residential care staff needs. This role requires living on campus to maintain a consistent, visible presence, allowing the RCM to embody the mission, values, and care standards of Cherokee Home for Children both during and outside of standard operational hours.

Development Officer
The Development Officer assists with crucial fundraising operations, including donor communications, gift processing, digital media presence, and speaking at churches. Reporting to the Director of Development, this role ensures our supporters are deeply appreciated while effectively sharing the mission and story of Cherokee Home for Children with the broader community.
- Help strengthen relationships between supporters and Cherokee Home for Children!
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field OR high school diploma or G.E.D. and a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a related field.
- Must be experienced in public speaking, display maturity, and demonstrate strong spoken & written communication and public relations skills.
