Andrew & Shaye Gresham - Houseparents
Andrew and Shaye have been married since 2012. They both attended Harding University before graduating in 2011 and working in ministry and teaching. They have one dog named Casper and lots of family. Andrew is originally from Memphis, TN and attended the Highland Street church of Christ. Shaye grew up in Rockwall, TX and attended Lakeside church of Christ (now Eastridge church of Christ). She also lived in Eddy, TX and Temple, TX and attended the Avenue T church of Christ.
Andrew and Shaye both have lots of experience serving children in many ways, from teaching Bible classes and working in ministry to creating curriculum and coaching LTC to both leading and volunteering with various youth groups. They both love to serve others and seek ways to be God's hand and feet.
Andrew worked in youth ministry in Texarkana until 2013 and then he and Shaye moved to Temple, TX to pursue teaching. They worked as teachers from August 2013 until May 2016 when they accepted jobs at Medina Children's Home. They worked there as first relief house parents until 2020 and then girls house parents until 2024. They're both very happy to be settled in Cherokee and to have the opportunity to serve a new group of kids in God's love at Cherokee Home for Children.
